The IYC, in partnership with BP Canada, is launching an Eco-Club to raise environmental awareness and prompt environmentally-conscious behavior amongst our youth. 

The Eco-club meets every Tuesday to take a nature walk.  Through these walks, participating youth get the chance to explore and interact with our environment, thus fostering a deeper connection with our natural world.  During these walks the youth are engaged in a number of activities that reinforce our connection with the natural world.  The youth are asked to find their own special spot.  Upon returning to the group, the youth are asked what they discovered and to write about it in their journal made from recycled materials.
