The Inuvik Regional Youth Conference brought together over 79 youth aged 12-18 years of age from the 8 communities in the Northwest region of the NWT for 3 days of learning, sharing and confidence-building. The theme of the conference is "Building A Healthy Teen", with conference sessions divided into healthy teen, educated teen, safe teen and cultural/creative teen. The sessions in each of these streams will focus on encouraging positive life choices which will cultivate physical, mental and social health amongst conference participants.
